SoilLifeBoats Reaches Industry: New Cooperation with Norsk Stein AS

The SoilLifeBoats impact is now reaching beyond agriculture. We are proud to announce a promising new collaboration with industry, specifically with Norsk Stein AS, a leading producer of aggregates based in Norway.

This cooperation marks a major step forward in applying circular economy principles not only to organic residues, but also to industrial by-products. Norsk Stein AS expressed interest in the technologies and outcomes of our project.

Together, we began working on the development of a solution for transforming by-product in aggregates production into a valuable soil amendment, in line with our project’s mission to close material loops and enrich soils using secondary resources.

As part of this collaboration:

  • The SoilLifeBoats team visited Norsk Stein’s production site in Norway to better understand the material, production processes, and potential applications.
  • In return, we had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from Norsk Stein to ALCOR’s headquarters in Poland, where we showcased our demo fields, technologies, and results to date.

This exchange has been highly productive, strengthening the project’s visibility and influence in the industrial sector. It also highlights the versatility of SoilLifeBoats innovations, which are not limited to agriculture or forestry, but can contribute to sustainable transformation across sectors.

We’re excited about the potential for future industrial applications of our work, and we’re grateful to industry for their openness, collaboration, and shared commitment to sustainable solutions.

Because real soil health and climate resilience require cross-sector cooperation—and we’re proud to be building those bridges.
