New SoilLifeBoats Videos: Cooperation, Field Demonstrations and Stakeholder Training

As part of the SoilLifeBoats communication and dissemination activities, three new videos have been prepared to present the project technologies, cooperation with other European initiatives, and engagement with stakeholders.

The videos provide an accessible overview of the practical activities carried out within the project and help communicate SoilLifeBoats results to farmers, scientists, land managers, public authorities and other stakeholders interested in sustainable soil management.

Cooperation with the LIFECO2Sand Project

The first video presents cooperation between SoilLifeBoats and the Dutch LIFECO2Sand project.

Both projects address the challenge of improving soil quality, although they use different approaches. SoilLifeBoats develops and demonstrates circular economy-based soil improvement technologies, while LIFECO2Sand focuses on the use of clay to improve the properties of sandy soils.

The video documents a joint discussion and presentation of the technologies developed within both projects. The cooperation provides an opportunity to exchange knowledge, share practical experience and increase the visibility of innovative approaches to sustainable soil management across Europe.

Cross-project cooperation is an important element of LIFE projects, helping to strengthen dissemination, transfer good practices and create synergies between initiatives addressing similar environmental challenges.

SoilLifeBoats Technologies in Real Field Conditions

The second video takes viewers directly to the field and presents selected demonstrations of the technologies developed and promoted within the SoilLifeBoats project.

It shows how the project solutions are applied under real conditions and provides a practical perspective on their potential use for improving soil properties and supporting sustainable land management.

Field demonstrations are an essential part of SoilLifeBoats because they allow the project team to move beyond laboratory and theoretical assessments and verify the technologies under operational conditions.

The video is particularly relevant for practitioners, farmers, land managers and other potential end users interested in understanding how the developed solutions can be implemented in practice.

Training Session and Stakeholder Workshop

The third video was recorded during a SoilLifeBoats training session and stakeholder workshop.

During the seminar, the project leader presented the three main technologies investigated within the project and explained their expected beneficial effects on soils and plants.

The event brought together a diverse group of participants, including farmers, scientists, journalists and other stakeholders interested in soil improvement, sustainable agriculture and innovative environmental technologies.

The workshop provided an opportunity not only to present the project results, but also to exchange knowledge, discuss potential applications and raise awareness about solutions supporting healthier and more resilient soils.

Direct engagement with stakeholders is an important part of the SoilLifeBoats approach. Through seminars, demonstrations and training activities, the project aims to ensure that the knowledge generated within the project reaches potential users and contributes to the wider adoption of sustainable soil management practices.

Watch SoilLifeBoats on YouTube

All three videos are available on the SoilLifeBoats YouTube channel.

YouTube serves as one of the main communication channels of the project, allowing the consortium to make project demonstrations, training materials and technological developments easily accessible to audiences across Europe.

The videos can also be shared through the SoilLifeBoats website, social media, presentations, newsletters and other dissemination activities.

We invite you to watch the videos and follow the further development of the SoilLifeBoats technologies.
